Please tick the box below to indicate your agreement *Yes, I agreeThis Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into between Petforde Technologies ("Petforde"), a technology company duly registered under the laws of Nigeria, with its principal place of business at Block A6, Suite 124, Sura Shopping Complex, Simpson St, Victoria Island, Lagos, and you (hereinafter referred to as the "Tutor") who will be engaged by Petforde Technologies to teach at least one tech program at the Summer Tech Bootcamp (the "Bootcamp"). WHEREAS, Petforde Technologies aims to provide quality tech education and training to participants during the Summer Tech Bootcamp; WHEREAS, the Tutor possesses the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to effectively teach the tech programs at the Bootcamp; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, Petforde Technologies and the Tutor (collectively referred to as the "Parties") agree as follows: Engagement of Tutor: Petforde Technologies engages the Tutor to provide teaching services for the assigned tech program offered at the Bootcamp. The Tutor agrees to perform their duties diligently and to the best of their abilities throughout the duration of the Bootcamp. Duration of Bootcamp: 31st July to 1st September 2023, starting from 9am to 1pm daily. Termination of Engagement: Petforde Technologies reserves the right to terminate the engagement of the Tutor if there is evidence of unseriousness, lateness to work, misconduct, or if there is no longer a need for the services of the Tutor. The decision to terminate shall be at the sole discretion of Petforde Technologies. Representation as Staff: The Tutor shall portray themselves as a staff member of Petforde Technologies and shall not disclose to the host community, parents, or Bootcamp participants that they are not a paid staff member of Petforde Technologies. The Tutor shall maintain professionalism and adhere to the policies and guidelines set by Petforde Technologies during their engagement at the Bootcamp. Non-Compete: The Tutor acknowledges and agrees that during the one-month duration of the Bootcamp, they shall not enter into any work contract with the host organization or any other organization involved in the Bootcamp. The Tutor further agrees that they shall not engage in any activities that directly compete with the services provided by Petforde Technologies during the Bootcamp period. Confidentiality: The Tutor shall maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information disclosed to them by Petforde Technologies or obtained during the course of their engagement at the Bootcamp. The Tutor shall not disclose or use such information for any purpose other than for the performance of their teaching duties at the Bootcamp. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
